Attached you will find a copy of the notification for nominations and elections of all Local officer and executive board members. This is the same document that the Local has mailed out to all the members but I also wanted to provide an electronic copy for everyone.
As you may remember we had to postpone our elections due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on our Local Union meetings. With that said, we are still dealing with these effects and are still not able to conduct our face to face meetings. The Local 682 Executive Board has therefore taken action to do a one time only email/mail in self nomination process in place of the face to face nomination process we normally do at the general meeting. This notification lays out all the specific details and dates so please pay attention to how the process works for any member interested in running for a postion in our Local.
These are definately trying times for everyone as we try to deal with what is going on around us so please stay safe and take every precaution necessary to keep your families safe as well.
