As everyone is aware we are all dealing with some new realities this week concerning the COVID-19 virus and its effects on everyday life at work. This is a very fluid situation and things are changing rapidly day to day. The company is including the Union in these conversations of how to proceed, but we don't have a lot of answers at this time. If you have been monitoring the SCU8 website this weekend then you are aware of the very latest that Union leadership has at this time. If you haven't been I encourage you to head over to the site for all updates. As soon as we are able things are going up on that site first.
We understand that there are many questions out there right now in terms of sick pay and dealing with kids who are out of school for the foreseeable future. All concerns have been raised up to the company through our office at this point, and we are waiting for responses at this time.
