Contract results for January 26th, 2009:
The contract proposal was ratified.
The Local Unions 433, 626, 682,1412, and 1491 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers ratified, by vote, the 2008 Memorandum of Changes as proposed by Florida Power Corporation in their last, best, and final offer of January 19th, 2009.
Brothers and Sisters, thank you for making the second contract vote of 2008-2009 negotiations a success.
Once again we had a good voting turnout. The Officers of Local 682 thank everyone for their efforts and volunteered time in managing the voting process for our local. Each one of your efforts is very important for the success of our Union. |
